Clinique Pore Refining Solution Foundation

This is one of my latest favourite foundations, I have had it for three or four months now, but the colour was a little too dark for my Winter paleness and there was a whole lot of paleness going on.

I jumped on the bandwagon a little early this year and have applied some fake tan, this was mainly because I went on a foundation spree last summer, so most of them were to match my tan(didn't really think it through, I see that now!!)

Anyway, the shade I have is  ivory, now this is supposed to be one of the lightest shades.....

It looks pretty pale in the picture but its not overly.

Anyway, it has become one of my go-to products, when I came back from visiting family in the UK my skin was pretty bad, so I wanted to use something that was either full coverage or buildable.

I find this foundation is quite light but is buildable, it leaves my skin looking super healthy and feeling lovely.

This product is supposed to help cover up your pores and help them disappear, it contains  pore re-surfacing technology that helps to stop your pores from clogging. Its for all skin types

I'm not sure I have noticed it doing a huge job of helping them to go, but it definitely hides them well!

It is available in twelve different shades which cater for all skin colours.

I also like the bottle it comes in...

You have so much control over how much you want, not like other glass foundation bottles that you have to beat on the back of your hand. It's like tomato sauce, you shake, you get nothing then you shake like your dancing and half the bottle falls onto your plate!

The finish is extremely natural and soft. Its also super lightweight.

It comes in a 30ml bottle which I think will last a pretty long time, its a great size to carry around in your bag. I often have to choose the smaller products for my make up bag when I travel as I take so much with me (never use most of it, but you never know!)

It doesn't contain SPF, but that's OK most moisturisers do.

Final thoughts are that I love it! I have been wearing it most days and that will be the case throughout the summer.

Have you tried this foundation?

Stay Beautiful

  1. Sounds good, I might give it a try! I like Clinique's skin care, so maybe I will like their foundation as well.
