Braided Bun

BRAIDED BUN

This is another trend that goes along with the 'Top Knot' I personally love this braided bun, what makes it even better is that it's super quick and easy to achieve.

I added a few pieces from my set of hair extensions for this as I wanted the braid to be a little thicker than it would be without them! 

So, to start I simply put my hair in a ponytail at the crown area, then split it into two. 

I then braided both sections and tied them with a small clear band (I bought mine from ebay) 

I took each braid in the centre with both hands and pulled it out to make it bigger and less tidy.

Then I just wrapped one of the braids around the base of the pony tail, as you would with a regular bun, then I pinned it into place using a Kirby grip (bobby pin).

I then took the other braid and wrapped it around the opposite way than I did the first one, pinned it into place and just gently pulled it around until I was happy. 

I adore the look of the bun, its so quick and easy and can be worn for going out or work. 

Please bear in mind, my bun is a different colour to the hair pulled back as my hair is Ombrè'd
