Different Ways To Wear a Fishtail Braid

FISHTAIL BRAID

I have been trying to figure out what to do with a Fishtail braid, I love wearing it to the side, but to be honest it always feels like its in the way! I decided to spice up my ponytail and try to fishtail braid it. 

As you can see from the above picture, it worked! I actually really like it, I did mess it up a little around half way down, but if I am perfectly honest my arms got far too tired to keep it perfect! I had been working out this morning, then went for a walk with my little one, who then decided to fall asleep so I had to carry him, then I tried to do this......needless to say my arms are feeling the burn! 

I quite like my fishtail braids messy, don't get me wrong I also like them perfect too! I find with my hair I can't often get them perfect as I have layers so I get bits sticking out here and there. Also general wear over the day causes it to fray. 

I was trying to figure out super quick ways to wear it differently in case you decide to wear this kind of style to work and need to go out, you can also wear it in the following two ways...

Just take the end of the braid and tuck it under, pin it and you're done, just a little something different.

You can wear it like this, I really like this way its just adds a little something different. Once again just take the end of the braid and roll it under then pin it. It literally takes a minute to do.

Plus you could pop it into a bun, it would have great texture and look pretty different. 

I also just wanted to add, once I had put my hair into a ponytail, I took a small amount of hair from the underside of the ponytail and wrapped it around the base to hide the band and also close the gap between the base of the ponytail and the start of the fishtail braid. It is inevitable that you will get a small gap. 

I personally like all of these styles, remember you can wear them as messy or neat as you like, its all down to personal preference.
