MATTE TOP COAT
I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one!Its safe to say it didn't disappoint. I have seen some Matte Top Coats doing the rounds but hadn't gotten around to trying one.
When this one appeared in my letterbox I was super excited to try it!
The great thing about these kinds of polishes is that you can create so many different designs. Here are a few OPI came up with...
I love the look of the French Manicure. I am interested to see how the reverse French Manicure would look with this.
I wasn't sure on the texture that it would leave, but its pretty soft and perfectly smooth.
In the picture I have paired it with NEIN! NEIN! NEIN! OK FINE! from the Germany Collection. I wanted to use a dark colour as I thought it might show up better in the pictures.
I also love how much edge it gives, I can't wait to wear this with a funky colour on my girls night out.
OPI say that the formula also helps to stop the varnish from chipping which is rather handy. I didn't think it would actually act as a real top coat too (sounds silly now that I'm writing it!)
Have you tried a Matte Top Coat yet? What did you think?
Stay Beautiful
I absolutely adore matt topcoats. I own an Essence matt topcoat and it does the trick, kind of. I would really like to buy a very good one, like this OPI one!
ReplyDeleteWow that works so well! I've been intrigued by these matte top coats for a while but never actually seen it on the nails until now it looks great! Will definitely be picking up one of these x

ReplyDeleteI've never tried a matte topcoat before but I think they look great! I've had matte polishes before but they don't seem to work anywhere near as good as the top coats seem to
