Upsidedown Braid with Bun...

UPSIDE DOWN BRAID WITH BUN

I haven't done a hair post in forever, so I thought I would do one today! 

I tried the upside down braid with a bun. I know its pretty messy, but I like it. To be honest I wasn't going to get it any less messy today as this was my first attempt! 

I started by taking my hair from the top of my ears up to my crown (in almost a V shape) then pinned that out of the way.

I then just took three sections of hair and started the plait as you would the normal way. Its not very easy and you do have to make sure you give the hair a really good brush through before you start, or it gets really messy! 

I then (with difficulty) plaited the bottom section, took a small clear elastic and secured the braid. 

I then just took the rest of the hair, tied it into a ponytail and created a super messy bun. I thought that would be best as I knew the plait wasn't going to be very neat! 

Here is the finished look. Like I said , I know its pretty messy but I thought it was good for a first go. As with all things, practise makes perfect!!
