SUPER STAY 24hr BOLD MATTE
I had already tried the Super Stay lipstick, there were many mixed reviews on them but all in all I quite liked them! The one thing I had said was, the matte texture was an odd feeling and that my lips felt quite dry...
These lip colours do the opposite. I want to call them a gloss as that is what they look like!
So, you start off with a completely clean lip. Then apply the gloss side and leave for at least two minutes or until the colour has completely dried. Your lips will feel sticky and super dry, meaning you can't smooth them together...
Then you take the Conditioning balm...
You then apply the balm straight over the colour and instantly you can feel the difference in texture. It left mine feeling amazingly soft and moisturised.
I had a drink as soon as I applied the balm and no trace of lip colour was left on the glass!
I haven't tried it for very long so I'm not entirely sure how long it lasts, this is because the colours I have are bright and not something I would wear during the day.
I have two, the colours are Prune Plaisir and Fire Corail.
Here you can see the swatches...
They are very nice colours, just super bright!!
I tried the pink one this morning...
Due to the bright light the colour isn't showing true, in person the pink looks much deeper.
I absolutely love them, especially once you have placed the balm on top, I couldn't stop rubbing my lips together!
On the Maybelline website, it shows that there are 30 colours available, although I know from looking into the lipstick colours that depending on where you live, the colours may vary, so it's worth looking on the site for your country rather than just the .com site.
I definitely want to get a hold of some of the more neutral colours in the collection that I could wear on a daily basis.
Have you tried these out yet?
Stay Beautiful
The pink one looks amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThey look a bit like Covergirl's Outlast lip colors. It's the same principle, with the color and the balm separately. Both these shades looks really pretty!
