I wanted to tell you about these gorgeous quad palettes from Maybelline. I was recently lucky enough to receive these recently, although it has taken me a while to get round to telling you about them!
I'm just going to jump right in and show you the swatches and then talk about them a little.
This first palette is one of the Diamond Glow palettes and is called Coffee Drama. I love all of these shades in here, they make for a perfect day or night look.
On the reverse of the palette, it shows you a small diagram of the eye and tells you exactly where to place each colour.
Place shade no2 all over the eyelid, shade no3 in the crease, shade no4 on the upper and lower lash line (half way across) and then finish with shade no1 under the brow bone.
I think they are all lovely colours, this is the only palette I have tried so far but it makes me want to try all the others!
The shadows are well pigmented and last for quite a while. All very blendable too.
This gorgeous palette is named Luminous Turquoise.
The colours are amazing.
These again are all shimmery shades.
Use no1 as your highlighter, take it under the brow bone and on top of the cheek, use no2 across most of the lid, leaving a small gap in the inner corner, here place no3 then add no 4 to the crease. Blend them all as you go.
The swatches of these colours are amazing, don't forget that with these kind of eye shadows you can build them up to a colour that you are happy with.
This palette is called Purple Drama. I can definitely see this being one to wear on a night out. I do love a palette that stands out!
You apply shade no1 under the brow bone, shade no2 all over the lid, shade no3 in the crease and shade no4 on the upper and lower lash lines half way across. Blend as you apply.
Again, all shimmery shadows, but these colours are also gorgeous!
This palette is called Luminous Grass, this is the palette I would be least likely to use, but I am going to try it as you never know!
You use shade no1 for your highlighter, so underneath the brow bone and onto the tops of your cheeks, then use shade no2 on the lid leaving free the inner for shade no3, then add no4 to the crease.
And finally....
This is the last one I have, it intrigues me!! The palette name is Blue Drama, I'm wondering if this would be for night use only? I guess the only way to find out is to try it!!
You put shade No1 under the brow bone, shade no2all over the lid, Shade no3 in the crease and shade no4 on the upper and lower lash line, half way across. Don't forget to blend as you go!
These are lovely colours!
Don't forget you can wear these however you want, you don't have to go by the packaging!
Have you tired any of these palette?
Stay Beautiful
That is lots of shimmer right there...! Maybe a little too much, I don't know. I'd have to try it and see for myself :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat review! my favorite is "coffee drama". I like having palettes like those that are small and I can put in my purse and theyre neutral colors. Colors that I can never go wrong with if I wanna do an eye look but I'm not home and have access to like my naked palette. lol great review again!
