Junior Edition: FlikFlak Watch

ACCESSORIES - JUNIOR EDITION!

I was recently lucky enough to be sent this gorgeous little watch to try from the amazing Coolbrandz.

Sammy was super excited to try it as soon as I opened it.

He is coming up to three, which is the recommended age for them to start wearing this. Whilst it's very obvious he won't be telling anyone the correct time anytime soon, he can simply learn about the numbers and when he is shown a clock in school, or taught to refer to one, it won't be completely alien!

Each five seconds or minutes is marked out on the watch, which is again a great way to help them learn.

The watch itself is super light weight and not too big and believe it or not, it's machine washable!! This amazed me when I read it, you simply place the watch inside a sock and put it on a 40° wash. It is shock resistant, the mechanism is placed behind a polishable, plastic glass face. It can also cope with being in the shower and being rained on!

It's also a great size, this is because this particular one was made for children of the ages 3-5. I also just love the FlikFlak characters that are the hands.

I thought I would tell you about the vigorous safety precautions that these watches go through before hitting the stores....

"Flik Flak watches are tested to the highest quality performance standards to ensure total safety before final use.
Before being launched on the market, each new Flik Flak product line has to pass at least one month of stringent ratification tests inside specific quality control laboratories.
Initially, each watch component (the strap and accessories included) undergoes a wide range of chemical analysis, targeted to ensure the absence of dangerous chemical substances.
The chemical tests are not the only aspect of the ratification; mechanical tests are also essential to guarantee the quality of the end product.
The mechanical tests tend to observe and measure the resistance of the timepieces under the “toughest living conditions”, in other words… for “active child’s play”!

No Flik Flak product is ever launched without having successfully passed the ratification tests. There are no exceptions to this rule: if one of the fundamental tests is unsuccessful, the product line is considered “non- conform” and will not be put on the market until quality standards are completely satisfied.
In fact, the product can only be launched on the market when all the ratification results are positive."

These watches come in a number of different designs for both boys and girls. The FlikFlak line also has different styled watches to suit different age groups.

You can find out a huge amount of information on the FlikFlak website, it even tells you all about Flik and Flak

I would definitely go out and buy one of these for my niece's or nephew's.

This is a great product
