Review: Revlon Photoready Foundation

MY LATEST FAVOURITE FOUNDATION!

I have many 'foundation phases' it really depends on the time of year as my skin can go from normal to dry in a heart beat which can be quite frustrating. 

Now I'm not going to lie, I have had this foundation for about 8 months. I bought it whilst visiting my family in the UK, therefore didn't have my foundation brush as I was working with a BB Cream at the time. 

I first applied this foundation using my fingers, but to be honest really didn't like the finished look. Therefore I put it to one side and forgot about it. I found it again whilst sorting through my make up collection and thought I would try it. I fell in love with it. A few things have changed since first trying it, such as my skin is 'normal' at the moment and I have discovered the buffing brush. 

I find when I use a buffing brush it really changes the finished look, gives me quite a flawless complexion and doesn't look like it's just sitting on my skin (as it did when using my fingers). 

I also now use a primer, which is something I decided to do not long ago, this also helps the foundation to last all day. This is honestly the foundation I have been reaching for everyday. I thinks it's a great multi purpose foundation, one layer evens out my skin for that natural everyday look but if I apply two layers, it gives me a lovely flawless look to my skin that I love to have for nights out or events. 

Another plus for me is that it has a glass pump bottle, it distributes the perfect amount with one pump. Those who read my posts regularly will know that I am not a fan of the 'open bottle' foundations as I always pour far too much out and end up wasting half the bottle! 

I would say, this shall remain one of my favourites now.
