THE PERFECT RED LIP
Holy jamoly ladies....... just look at that red lip!
I don't even know where to start! Focus.... ok, packaging......
I haven't had a Tom Ford lipstick before, but I believe this is their typical sleek style packaging. It's gorgeous. I honestly didn't even want to touch it let alone use it.
It comes in this gorgeous black and gold square packaging with a good sized bullet of lipstick.
The red I have on my lips in the top picture is Rouge Fatal, this is part of the Jasmin Rouge 2013 Colour Collection. It also consists of another lipstick (image shall be below) and two nail lacquers (post to follow next week).
The lipstick itself is made up of rare and exotic ingredients such as, soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter and camomilla flower oil. These all help to make the incredible and ultra creamy texture that helps the lipstick apply perfectly. It is super pigmented, this is because the colour pigments are blended so they give you a pure colour and great luminosity.
I have worn it here with super simple eyes, I used the Urban Decay Naked two palette. I put a shimmery light colour all over the lid and used a light grey/brown shade in the crease to add some definition.
The lipstick applied very easily and is super blendable which means you don't have to worry about going too far with the colour as you can just blend it out to make it softer. This also means if you slightly go out of the lip line you can easily wipe it away and not be left completely stained!
The colour stayed true for a long time, I didn't fully test it as I took it off to go for a nap (luxury of pregnancy!) But I shall wear it tomorrow and update you on how long lasting (or not) it is.

This lipstick is in the shade 'Shameless'. It's another gorgeous red, although this time more of a Cherry Red.
